Director (2012)
SuAnn Pagel-Rast has been teaching special education for 33 years. She has been using Direct Instruction methods and materials for 30 years. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. She currenly teaches K-5 cross-categorical special education at Almond-Bancroft Schools. Sue Owens Director (2012)
Sue Owens has served in the education field for 40 years, first as a music teacher and then a first grade teacher. Her search for method to help struggling first graders led her to special education and Direct Instruction. Sue began teaching DI programs in 1975 and training/coaching DI programs in 1987. She has a master's degree in Special Education and has completed post-master's work in Educational Administration.
